Libby M Gardner is a writer, producer, and media professional. Her writing has been published in outlets including The New York Times and Qu Literary Journal. Gardner serves as writer and co-producer on BOOK DROP for Twin Cities PBS and writes for WORK IT OUT WOMBATS (PBS Kids) and THE PIGEON EXPLAINS! (Hidden Pigeon Co). Additionally, she has provided script support on both scripted and non-scripted shows including CRUTCH (Paramount+), HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU (CNN), TINY TIME TRAVEL (PBS Kids), HELPSTERS (Apple TV+), and QUEER SPORTS (Vice News). Past TV production credits include MURPHY BROWN (CBS), SUPERIOR DONUTS (CBS) and GREAT PERFORMANCES (PBS).

 

These days, Gardner continues to collaborate on major television projects as well as write and develop her own work, including SUNNY SIDE UP MYSTERIES - an original kids’ detective show exploring critical thinking skills and social emotional learning. Her stage plays include NORTHERN LIGHTS, RYAN & ALICE, and THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH. Her original short films A CLASSY MAN and CHAP are set to film in New York this year.

She's based in NYC and wherever her laptop takes her.
